This policy explains what happens to your data when you use sidetally.co.uk ("the site", "we", "us"). We built this tool to be usable without creating an account, and we've tried to keep data collection to the minimum needed to run and improve it.

What data we collect

The calculator itself runs entirely in your browser, the numbers you enter (salary, profit, etc.) are never sent to our servers. We do not store or see your financial figures.

Separately, if you accept analytics/advertising cookies via our cookie banner, the following may be collected:

• Usage analytics (e.g. Google Analytics): pages visited, approximate location (from IP address), device/browser type, time spent on the site.
• Advertising data (e.g. Google AdSense): used to show ads and measure their performance; Google may use cookies to personalise ads based on your browsing across sites, subject to your consent choices.

We do not collect names, email addresses, or financial account details through this site unless you contact us directly by email.
